From hidden in search to cited by AI

Mentorix is a Danish accredited training company. PRINCE2, ITIL, Scrum, AI, ISO 27001. The site looked fine to a human. To a search engine, parts of it were broken. To an AI assistant, large parts were invisible.

What we found

We scored the site on two lenses on the same day. Classic SEO. AI discoverability. The starting numbers were 60% and 65%.

The detail was the point. One English page rendered as if it had ninety-two headlines. The English About page shipped a machine-translated description that read like a parody. The map for AI assistants was full of debug entries. None of this is visible to a casual visitor. All of it is visible to a search engine.

What we changed

We made every course machine-readable. Each one now publishes its name, image, instructor, language, duration, package options, and price.

We changed the rules for AI crawlers. The assistants that quote published pages are welcome. The crawlers that feed model training are not. Mentorix gets cited. Training crawlers go elsewhere.

We replaced the auto-generated map for AI assistants with a curated one. Twenty short sections of the pages that matter. We cleaned up the search basics. The page that rendered as ninety-two headlines now renders as one.

How we knew it worked

Same day. We re-ran the audit. Classic SEO went from 60% to 75%. AI discoverability went from 65% to 85%. We validated the course pages in Google's own tester. Eligible for richer search results.

Analytics is the slower signal. Google Search Console will show it first. The honest AI test is asking the assistants course-buying questions and looking for Mentorix in the answers.
